Another record year? The countdown has begun

Wow! We just ran the registration numbers for the 2016 CSIA Executive Conference in Puerto Rico, April 19 – 22. We’re tracking 26% higher than last year at this time!

We knew that Puerto Rico and our program offerings would be popular. That’s why we’ve been encouraging you to register early and book your rooms at the Gran Melia right away.  If you haven’t gotten around to securing your spot, do it now. We’d hate to miss you!

We’re less than seven weeks out from the conference, and that means crunch time for staff:  taking phone registrations; finalizing the program and exhibits; producing printed materials; ordering registration bag goodies; and finally, making signage, slides and badges.  We’re excited to see you all and will work to make your experience at the 2016 Executive Conference the best yet!

Find out more about the programs and how to register here.

While you look forward to the warm sandy beaches of Puerto Rico, here are a couple of things to consider about the 2016 Executive Conference:

  • Best Practices Training will once again be held just prior to the conference, Monday, April 18 and Tuesday, April 19. Learn how to help grow your business by applying the proven best practices of other system integration companies. Registration deadline: March 15.
  • Sign up for the first-ever CSIA Fun Run/Walk on Tuesday, April 20. Whether you’re a walker, casual runner, or serious speed demon, the Fun Run/Walk is a great way to kick start the conference.
  • CSIA invites all women in system integration to attend the first annual Women’s Networking Breakfast, Thursday, April 21. This will be a great opportunity to connect with women in system integration from around the globe, develop a network of peers, learn new best practices for your career, and celebrate women in business! Myself, Candice Ducharme of MatrikonOPC, and CSIA board member Dianne Trentini of Optimation Technology, will lead the conversation throughout this event.
  • New in 2016, CSIA gives you – The Unconference! An unconference is a participant-driven meeting where the agenda is created on the spot by attendees at the beginning of the meeting to allow for flexibility of topics and discussion-based sessions. These highly collaborative meetings will take place Thursday afternoon and offer a vibrant atmosphere where questions are welcomed and sharing is encouraged. Unconference topics include: BP Rev 5: What to Expect, Peer Group Connections, The Pulse and Why it Matters, IoT Service Opportunities for SIs, and the New CSIA Legal Plan.
