Control System Integrators Association?

Founded in 1994, the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) is a not-for-profit, global trade association that seeks to advance the industry of control system integration. Control system integrators use their engineering, technical and business skills to help manufacturers and others automate their industrial equipment and systems. CSIA helps members improve their business skills, provides a forum to share industry expertise, and promotes the benefits of hiring a certified control system integrator. CSIA has over 500 member companies in 35 countries.

The mission of CSIA is to help system integrators (SI) build successful businesses and to advance the impact system integrators have in industry.

CSIA members will lead industries in the deployment of innovative, low risk, safe, sustainable, and successful automation technology solutions helping clients achieve operational excellence.

What is a Control System Integrator?

Control system integrators design and implement sophisticated control systems for manufacturing, process and other industrial facilities. Using their knowledge of engineering, information technology, and business, system integrators integrate plant equipment to automate manufacturing and processes from the plant floor to the enterprise level. Automation helps manufacturers and processors reduce cost, increase production, use less energy and lower environmental impact.
