As a CSIA member you have a benefit that you may not be maximizing. And IT'S FREE! It’s your CSIA Exchange Profile. I can’t stress enough how important the Exchange is in your CSIA marketing/branding efforts. Here are three takeaway points from this email:
- CSIA Exchange helps client awareness of your company.
- CSIA Exchange confirms your company’s validity, as clients research in multiple locations, prior to reaching out. Getting them to your website might not be enough. The explanation for why is in this article.
- Using our content marketing features will attract our visitors to your profile and send them to your website. They will also create more relevant external links to your site.
As a movie once said, “Help me, help you.” What should you do first?
Find your existing CSIA Exchange profile. If your profile has default images like this, or like this, then you’re not giving client visitors a reason to click on your profile or through to your website.
- Upload/freshen up your company logo, add some text in the "about us" field, and choose up to five categories so you will come up in some search results. Here’s a good example of a complete bronze profile, and a good example of a gold profile.
- Link to your Exchange profile from your website. I can’t stress enough how important this is for the SEO efforts of both your company and CSIA. Don't think of this as sending traffic away from your site. Why? Read this.
