The Cybersecurity Task Force is developing a whitepaper on cybersecurity for system integrators. The first draft is complete. Now the review process is underway, with expected completion in September. The intention of the whitepaper is to provide our members with a guide on managing cybersecurity both internally and in project delivery, with references to various standards where more detail is provided. The whitepaper structure is modeled to follow IEC 62443-2-4, an international standard for cybersecurity that will be released soon.
A subsequent task is writing the content of the new Section 10 for the Best Practices and Benchmarks Manual Rev. 5. That section will contain information systems management, which is in the General Management section of the Rev. 4 BP manual, plus cybersecurity.
