Revised Best Practices and Benchmark Manual to roll out at Executive Conference

Both the Best Practices and Benchmark Committee and CSIA leadership are excited about the content and progress of version 5 of the Best Practices and Benchmark Manual. The target is to roll out the new version in conjunction with the Executive Conference in 2016. We could not ask for a better venue and location than Puerto Rico.

We have the individual section leaders editing their sections based on the overall committee review, feedback from the members, and consideration for clarity. We are also striving to provide additional content for our international members.

The BP&B manual can be considered one of the Top 10 benefits of being a member of CSIA. I don't want to be too controversial, but I think it is only preceded by access and collaboration with the top integrators around the world. The manual contains the collective best practices for your entire business and contains the lessons learned from top integrators with decades of experience. If you haven’t opened your BP&B manual recently, take it out and read a section and use it as the basis for improving one area of your business.

In the near future, we will be reaching out to find a few integrators to volunteer as pilot audits. If you have an audit coming up and are interested, please reach out either to me or to Kim Siebecker, CSIA staff.

If you have an interest in joining us on the committee or any comments on what we can be doing to make your experiences with CSIA better, please contact me at eschaefer@stonetek.com.
