The BP&B committee is deep into the review and development of Revision 5 of the Best Practices and Benchmark Manual. We are working on improving the Best Practices Manual and providing current, relevant and practical best practices for our businesses. We have gathered input from members through a survey on revisions needed as well as new content needed.
The committee normally meets once a month but we have had more frequent meetings over the last six months while conducting a detailed review of each section of the BP&B Manual. We met as a group at the Executive Conference to review the revision process and ensure alignment on the next steps of editing phase. Our target is to have Revision 5 ready for issue by our 2016 conference.
The committee is comprised of volunteers from certified and non-certified member companies, as well as auditors and partner companies. We have volunteers lead the review, revision and content creation for each of the sections of the manual. The section leaders will be revising and updating their sections for the entire committee to review before sending to the board for approval.
