RUSSEL W. TREAT, 53, is the President/CEO of the EnerACT Companies, and President of the subsidiaries EnerSys Corporation and Gas Certification Institute, LLC.

Business Experience:

• In 2001, Mr. Treat was selected by the greater Houston Partnership as CEO of the Year, runner up.
• In 2002, in it’s first year of eligibility, EnerSys was selected for the Houston 100, Houston’s fastest growing small businesses.
• In 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2011 EnerSys was selected for the FastTech50, Houston’s fastest growing high tech companies.
• In 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011, Mr. Treat was recognized as a member of the Aggie 100.
• In 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 EnerSys was recognized as a member of the INC 5000.
• Mr. Treat has personally been involved in 6 business start ups including 5 in which he was in leadership, and 4 which he personally bootstrapped.

Industry Experience:

He is responsible for EnerSys' operations as a provider of products and services for oil & gas measurement and automation. He is also responsible for GCI’s operations in training, testing and calibration for gas measurement. For the 20 years, Mr. Treat has been involved in the design, specification, selection, development and delivery of products and systems for oil & gas measurement and automation. Mr. Treat works closely with pipelines and producers on their selection and implementation of mission critical systems.
