Nearly all of the presentations that have been made by CSIA at Partner and other Association events over the last year are now available in the resource library for your use.  You may want to use excerpts from them in your sales and marketing program.  If you do a local presentation about CSIA you could use them in their entirety. Can someone direct me to where the criteria is around what constitutes a Level 1, 2 or 3 certified member these days? It used to be around number of personnel, turnover and % of personnel involved in integration.

“If anyone tells you he is a social media expert, he's lying,” I overheard someone say at a recent professional group meeting.  Social media is simply too new to have experts. 

I have friends on Facebook and contacts on LinkedIn.  I’ve created groups, blogged, friended, tweeted, posted documents, uploaded photos, added RSS feeds, liked, and commented.  And, every time I step into this new world, I feel anxious – and amazed.

Do you perform an analysis of the risks of a project when developing your proposals?  Whether you have a system for it now or not, this recent addition to the Member Resources Library is a new asset for our integrator members.  It comes to you compliments of the Best Practices committee.  Go to the library now and download it for a test drive.  Once opened, you are prompted with a series of questions about the project and if an item is a potential risk, you rate it.  Upon completion you have a detailed analysis and can then mitigate the identified risks in appropriate ways.  Avoiding risk is one of the keys to a successful CSI business and this tool aids in the avoidance.  Remember, a dollar saved is a dollar earned, and risk avoidance saves dollars!
